We bridge the gap between general practice and emergency medicine, offering walk-in urgent care in a supportive, team-driven environment. We are growing and looking for a Veterinary Technician who thrives in a collaborative setting, enjoys hands-on patient care, and takes pride in excellent client communication.
Position Overview
Pet Urgent Cares is a brand new, fast-paced, compassionate veterinary urgent care clinic dedicated to providing high-quality medical care for pets when they need it most. We bridge the gap between general practice and emergency medicine, offering walk-in urgent care in a supportive, team-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures Obtain patient histories and accurately document medical records Run in-house laboratory tests (Idexx) and prepare samples for external labs Prepare and administer medications as directed Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients about patient care Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Qualifications
Veterinary Technician experience preferred but not required (Certified and Uncertified welcomed) Strong technical and animal-handling skills Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Comfort with urgent or same-day cases is a plus Willingness to learn and grow within an expanding organization
